Michael A Yu CPA, Inc is a well-established public accounting firm serving the greater community of the San Francisco Bay Area for over 30 years. We are experienced in accounting, federal and State income taxes, international taxes and start-up financing. We offer a variety of services, ranging from business and personal income tax preparation, tax planning, payroll taxes, business consultations, corporate investments and financial statements.
Our firm has had substantial presence in Northern California and is known for its expertise in high tech companies, rental real estate, medical practices, restaurant, manufacturing, import and export, investment companies, professional consulting, distribution industries, and non-profit organizations. Our clients consist of small to mid-size businesses, international companies, non-profits and individuals.
Our staffs are all experienced CPA and CPA candidates who are knowledgeable in all areas of tax preparation and planning for individuals, businesses, estates and trusts as well as providing accounting and financial reporting services. We speak English, Mandarin and Cantonese. It would be our pleasure to put our extensive experience and knowledge to work for you.
Founder
Michael A Yu
Michael Yu has over 30 years of experience in accounting, finance, taxation and investments in various domestic and multi-national companies. He co-founded MAJ Accountancy Corporation and Michael A Yu CPA, Inc., a professional CPA firm in domestic business, non-profit and cross-border investment consulting and taxation.
Michael worked in various positions before founding the CPA firm, including as C.F.O. for start-up for companies, senior advisor for international investment companies, government and financial auditor, management position at high-tech and non-profit organizations, and also as a member of the Advisory Board of an university.
Michael has a Master of Business Administration degree from the Santa Clara University in California, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Brigham Young University in Utah. He also studied at National Taiwan University.
